Hop off here and stroll across this impressive square, which has long been a central feature of Berlin. Visit the famous Rotes Rathaus town hall before hopping back on the bus and continuing your tour of the city. Another unmissable landmark is the Brandenburg Gate. Hop off here and see this impressive structure, which is seen as a symbol of European unification and peace, as it was here that thousands of Berliners gathered to celebrate the fall of the wall in 1989. The Gate was actually part of the dividing line between East and West until the moment the wall fell. When you’ve soaked up the Gate’s history, hop on the bus again and decide where to visit next. There’s so much to choose from. The brilliant Berlin Zoo, the Wall itself or famous Checkpoint Charlie. That’s just a start of things to see.
