Itinerary
Upon arriving at Zurich International Airport, meet your driver in the arrival hall for a transfer to your hotel in Zurich. After checking in (available from 14:00), you’ll have free time to explore your hotel at your leisure. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability upon arrival.
Begin your journey by heading straight into Zurich's historic center. Start at Bahnhofstrasse, one of the world’s most exclusive shopping streets, lined with luxury boutiques, department stores, and cafes. Take a stroll around Lake Zurich, where you can enjoy scenic views of the city against the backdrop of the Alps. Next, explore Zurich's Old Town (Altstadt), a maze of narrow, winding streets and medieval buildings. Visit the impressive Grossmünster Church, a symbol of Zurich's Reformation history, and Fraumünster Church, famous for its beautiful Marc Chagall stained glass windows. For lunch, enjoy some Swiss specialties like fondue or rosti at a cozy local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Swiss National Museum, showcasing Swiss culture and history, or spend time at the Kunsthaus Zurich, one of Switzerland’s most important art museums with a collection spanning from the Middle Ages to contemporary art. Finish your day with a sunset walk along the Limmatquai or relax at a lakeside café before enjoying a leisurely dinner at one of Zurich’s top restaurants.
Today, use your rental car to explore the stunning countryside around Zurich. Start your drive with a trip to the nearby Uetliberg Mountain, located just a short drive from the city center. From the top, enjoy sweeping panoramic views of Zurich, the lake, and the distant Alps. There are plenty of hiking trails for those who enjoy outdoor activities, or you can simply relax at the viewing platform. In the afternoon, take a scenic drive to the Zürichsee (Lake Zurich) and visit the charming town of Rapperswil, located at the southern tip of the lake. Rapperswil, often called the "Town of Roses," is known for its medieval castle, rose gardens, and tranquil lakefront. You can take a leisurely walk along the promenade or visit the Rapperswil Castle, which offers lovely views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Alternatively, if you prefer more nature, you could drive to the Sihlwald Nature Reserve, a peaceful forest area near Zurich that offers relaxing walks and wildlife spotting opportunities.
After Breakfast, meet your drivel and ride to the airport, we suggest hotel pick up time up to 4 hours prior to your flight departure time. Hotel check out time 12:00 noon and late check out will be subject to hotel availability.
