From there, you will take the train to the beautiful royal town of Windsor, where you will visit (admission included) its famous and marvelous castle: its magnificent chambers, its grounds, and its charming chapel and royal cemetery, where Queen Elizabeth II is buried. Windsor Castle is one of the oldest inhabited castles in the world. It was built in the 11th century by William the Conqueror, the first Norman king of England. Since then, it has been used by the British monarchy for over 900 years. Located in the town of Windsor, approximately 40 kilometers west of London, it spans an area of 13 hectares. In addition to the castle itself, the Windsor Gardens can be explored, spanning about 20 hectares. These gardens offer beautiful landscapes, wooded areas, and a lake. It is also possible to witness the changing of the guard ceremony (subject to availability). At the end of the tour, you will return to Waterloo Station in London, located in the city center and one of the best commercial areas, to take advantage of a few hours of shopping.
